This course is ran in a few different locations from North Wales near Lake Vyrnwy and around Derbyshire and Carsington Water.

This is the perfect course for someone looking to improve their personal paddling skills and decision making in various environments.
Environment
The course takes place in Sheltered water with upto force 3 winds and slow moving rivers of upto grade 1.
The aim of the course is to have a safe and fun learning environment to ensure you get the most from the course.
Throughout the course we will explore different factors to consider. this is done through 5 areas:
- Choosing an appropriate location
- Getting Ready, Equipment choices, exploring new ideas of equipment for travelling on the water.
- At the water - Parking, logistics, environmental factors and ways to minimise our footprint.
- Canoeing skills - how to effectively and efficiently move our canoe around the water both in open water and slow moving rivers. We also consider mishaps on the water and how to deal with these.
- After the trip - reviewing the day and how to use self reflection and group reflection for future trip.
